A driver transporting 30 Small Indian civets has just been arrested by the Tay Ninh Provincial Police.

Specifically, at 3 p.m. on August 5, after receiving information that someone was driving a car with control plate 70A-192.04 transporting wild animals from Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province to Ho Chi Minh City to for consumption, the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Department assigned the Trang Bang Traffic Police Station to arrange a blocking on National Highway 22B, in Cam An hamlet, Cam Giang commune, Go Dau district. At 15:15 on the same day, detecting the above car, the police asked to stop the vehicle for administrative inspection.

Through inspection, the task force discovered that driver Pham Nhat Linh was carrying 30 Small Indian civets, without documents to prove the origin and license to transport wild animals.

Objects and exhibits have just been handed over to Go Dau District Police for investigation and clarification.
