Six offenders were severely arrested due to illegal hunting of wildlife animals at the buffer zone of Bach Ma National Park.

On the afternoon of August 19th, the leader of Bach Ma National Park ( Thua Thien Hue province) announced that the Nam Dong district’s police officers were investigating and dealing with offenders that were involved in the illegal hunting of wildlife animals at the buffer zone of Bach Ma National Park.

Many days ago, on the evening of August 17th, when the patrol team of Huong Loc Ranger Station ( Bach Ma National Park) was on duty at block 06, Sub-zone 385, Khe Lit area, they suddenly discovered 6 subjects carrying backpacks were about to run away. Luckily, all forest rangers chased, stopped, and arrested those subjects immediately.

During the inspection, the forest rangers discovered that the subjects were carrying a hand-made shotgun, and the bodies of many dead wildlife animals, including 2 flying minks, 1 civet, 3 primate’s heads, 3 primate’s bodies had been deadly amputated and decomposed.

On August 18th, the forest rangers of Bach Ma National Park led the group of subjects to Khe Ao Ranger Station in Huong Loc commune and coordinated with Nam Dong district’s police officers to carry out a mission of taking the testimony of the subjects.

Here,  6 offenders were exactly identified that they all lived in Thuong Quang, Thuong Luu, and Huong Huu communes of Nam Dong district. These offenders admitted their dangerous action of hunting and transporting illegal wildlife animals.

The functional force keeps continuing to investigate and complete the files to solve these 6 offenders according to regulations of Law.
